On the occasion of the upcoming Road Safety Day on June 15, 2024, VITRONIC and Verkehrswacht Wiesbaden are jointly training volunteer moderators and traffic trainers. Following their training, the 12 VITRONIC employees will teach road safety education in kindergartens. In this way, VITRONIC wants to counteract the shortage of junior staff in this area and raise awareness of safe behavior in road traffic.

VITRONIC has been closely associated with Verkehrswacht Wiesbaden for years and has agreed to provide personal support this year. Between May and July 2024, twelve VITRONIC employees will be trained by Deutsche Verkehrswacht as new moderators and traffic trainers who will volunteer in road safety education. As part of the "Safe to School" program, they will inform children, parents and teachers about road safety in kindergartens.

By training moderators, VITRONIC wants to ensure that children learn the basic rules of the road at an early age. Consideration in road traffic avoids many potential dangers and thus contributes to the common goal of Vision Zero: no fatalities or serious injuries on the roads.

Road Safety Day provides an ideal opportunity to raise awareness of the importance of road safety. However, it is even more important to start exactly where a deficiency can be identified. We have therefore decided to support our employees in this voluntary activity
Daniel Scholz-Stein CEO VITRONIC

The partnership between VITRONIC and the Verkehrswacht is an outstanding example of cooperation between companies and non-profit organizations. Through their joint commitment, they are helping to make our roads safer with newly trained #VisionZeroHeros and preparing children for their journey to school in the best possible way.
